I have owned a home in Teton Valley since 1994. I plan to live here the rest of my life and would like to contribute to the Teton Valley community by serving as your County Commissioner.
I have worked in both small companies and large organizations as an engineer, a manager and a consultant. My thirty years of business experience has taught me the importance of fiscal responsibility and fostering consensus. My leadership style involves understanding the challenges, listening to different points of view and making fair decisions.
I would like to have the privilege of representing you as Teton County Commissioner.
When elected I will work with you to:
- Review and update Planned Unit Development and Zoning Ordinances
- Revise and issue Capital Improvement and Comprehensive Plans
- Increase and strengthen planning staff
DEVELOP A VISION FOR TETON VALLEY
- Listen to all organizations and citizens
- Improve cooperation with towns
- Sponsor public forums
BUILD CONSENSUS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
- Work to improve county roads
- Increase funding for law enforcement
- Work together to address growing needs
IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN COUNTY SERVICES
- Create Preferred Land Use Map with public input
- Foster cooperation between landowners and public land agencies
- Monitor impacts on natural resources
PROTECT WATER, WILDLIFE AND PUBLIC LAND ACCESS
- Develop funding sources for affordable housing
- Support new businesses with fair ordinances
